Pop music was once a great music genre. It was invented in the 1950s and multiple great artists have originated from it, such as The Beatles, Michael Jackson and The Beach Boys. Due to its creation, a variety of fantastic types of music were established, these include rock’n roll and art rock. Unfortunately, in the beginning of the 21st century, what is called ‘modern pop music” was created. Modern pop music is horrible and it should be banned due to its disastrous content. First of all, it is an insult for people who have more talent and less attention. Indeed what we call “artists” of modern pop music have absolutely no talent whatsoever. They all use a machine that was invented in the 2000s called auto tune. Auto tune is an audio processor, which can alter one’s voice. Subsequently, a serious majority of performers such as Justin Bieber and Katy Perry use it. There is not any merit for them as they let computers do all the work for them. Lip-synching is a technic used by many singers today where they move they lips according to the lyrics of the song but they’re not actually singing, they are letting the recorded track play. This technic has been used a countless number of times since its creation. Artists such as Shakira, Britney Spears or even Madonna have openly admitted lip-synching. Fans pay a fair amount of money to see their favorite artist perform and to see them lip-synching is considered “unfair” and “messed up”.
