The End of Animal Testing is near . Some people might think that we won’t have another way on testing makeup, shampoo, or medicine. Others argue that animal testing is a good way to find deadly cures. The truth of the matter is that animal testing should be discontinued in our society. It is very important that we ban this inhumane way of testing products, or drugs on all of these poor animals. Even though some people strongly disagree, I don’t think it is worth torturing all of these innocent creatures. This is because the animals are much different from humans which result in, wasting of money, and torturing. The first reason is the inhumanness of the animal testing. Most creatures go through pain and suffering at the hands of researchers during experimentation. The animals are poked, deprived of basic needs, burned, infected with fatal diseases, isolated in the dark, addicted to drugs, poisoned, burned and brain damaged all in the name of science. After testing, the animals are euthanatized and dumped. . The USDA recently released that in 2010, 97,123 animals suffered pain during experiments while being given no anesthesia for relief, including 1,395 primates, 5,996 rabbits, 33,652 guinea pigs, and 48,015 hamsters.This utter disrespect for animal life and rights is inhumane and portrays unethical research methods …show more content…

I say this is very disrespectful because we are using animals to “test” drugs and skincare products and most of them will not have the same effect as it did on the animal.
