However, our choices might endanger those around us, and during such time, our government interference are logical. However, it is scientifically proven that marijuana does not affect our health in the same degree as tobacco and alcohol does. This make me to question why our government would rather spend billions of dollar fighting marijuana off the street of America. Marijuana has it's flaws, but in no case should it be illegal before tobacco and alcohol. Medically speaking, marijuana can be use to treat and prevent Glaucoma. Glaucoma is a eye disease that increase pressure in human eyeball, which at some point can damage the optic nerve and causing loss of one’ vision (jennifer et al. 2).
