From the hominids to the modern homo sapiens, this life has been defined by a competition of resources and survival, likely not to fade away soon. The first ever humans to roam the world was a competitive species. They fought wildlife, and each other for survival, allowing them to succeed in the process of natural selection later creating an improved species, the modern humans. Modern science and medicine have been able to bypass natural selection by hindering the health of the genetic code, creating an immense weakness onto society. Modern day technology, in the medical fields, has allowed people to hinder nature’s process of eliminating the weak, through medicine. This has allowed people to outlast mother nature’s way of strengthening future …show more content…

Breast cancer has a very high chance to be passed on from generation to generation. About 5 percent to 10 percent of breast cancers are thought to be hereditary, caused by abnormal genes passed from parent to child, when these genes contain abnormalities or mutations that are passed from generation to generation, the genes don't function normally and the cancer risk increases. Doctors will treat breast cancer patients, even though they are allowing those patients to live and potentially pass down their gene abnormalities to another generation, continuing the process. If the patients with breast cancer are not treated, they could die but when they die, they cannot potentially pass down their breast cancer to a future generation. If we were to allow all those with breast cancer to die, and not reproduce, the disease would be eradicated, and no future generations would have to manage this illness. Immunizations allow for those who do not have a natural immunity to survive, in turn, allowing a weaker gene pool to be created. Children are forced to receive immunizations/ vaccines, but it does make the infant more likely to survive if they were to become sick, but if a baby were to become sick and survive its immunity would be stronger and they would pass that down to their children. Giving people immunizations and other medicines only further the natural selection problem because diseases evolve, so there will be no way to get rid of all disease besides becoming an evolved species, thus we can only evolve by natural
