Themes/Reviews: - Impact of treating paedophilia as a crime only (What is happening at the moment, people offending, doing their time in prison, being released then reoffending due to no treatment being given. This is a danger to society as people are left untreated.) - Potential impact of treating paedophilia as a mental health condition and not just a crime (Preventing sexual acts from occurring if it is dealt with, getting more people to come forward if they are experiencing symptoms of paedophilia.) - Treatment and services which should be made available for people with paedophilia (More self-help service, being sectioned at the hospital and creating awareness of the condition.) - Legislations which need to be altered to help people with paedophilia (Mental Health Act 1983 – consider paedophilia as a mental health condition in order to allow them to be sectioned, consider campaigns promoting hate towards paedophilia as discrimination, create awareness against the condition.)
