Abstract:
In this Term Paper I will seek to establish a well-constructed argument on the topic of whether animals deserve rights or if they do not. Personally, I believe that animal rights should exist. I will be presenting five arguments for my opinion. My term paper will be speech-like due to the fact that the topic was a speech to the annual wildlife summit of the Ministry of Tourism.
I want to fully voice my opinion on this controversial point and establish a well written term paper about it in the following paragraphs.

P (Animal Liberation) 1975 outlining that more humans ought to speak out for animal rights because animals have no way to express their feelings and emotions. Singer also says ‘Should thousands or animals suffer so that a new kind of lipstick or floor wax can be put on the market’ expressing that animals suffer for human aggression and for unnecessary luxuries.

I believe that because we are at the top of the food chain, it doesn’t mean we decide the fate of other animals. Safran Foer. J (Eating Animals) 2009 states that us humans are ‘equally responsible for what we don’t do’ observing that not helping animals and guaranteeing them safety from inhumane killings. In the US for example, many people have pets and consider them ‘part of the family’ but refuse to recognise animal rights as rights. The main reason the UN declared human rights in 1945 was to prevent unjust human suffering. Also, cows produce a lot of methane which contributes to climate change.
