The Relevance of Animal Farm
Through Arrogance and Exploitation
The human race can be admired by its great feats–the moon landing, the invention of the internet, and the creation of modern society. However, humans have problems that not only cause damage to themselves, but destroy everything else around them. The argument of being right versus someone else being wrong–arrogance–will drive a person to the greatest degrees of anger, causing mass suffering to everything else involved. Not only arrogance, but achieving power, and using it to destroy others for one’s own benefit–exploitation–is a crucial factor in many human conflicts. Using his power, Napoleon assumes his titles of “Animal Hero”, as he believes that his judgment was the only clear and correct option. Additionally, he uses his newly bred dogs to strike fear, further bolstering his perspective on what is right and wrong. Simply by flawed science of correlation implies causation, China ignores any other aspect of the issue and declares that Uyghurs must be terminated because of their religion that they practice. Proposing an argument without any recognition of the other perspectives is the ultimate form of arrogance. By looking at data and reports of the China-Uyghur issue, it is clear that arrogance–in the form of making false arguments–affects millions, by suffering and death. Hand in hand with arrogance, exploitation of power caused by a one-sided argument can
