My journey to become a PA has been nothing short of amazing. While pursuing my passion in medicine, I married my wife, moved to New York from California, and completed the inaugural PA program at Marist College. After my rotations, it was clear that emergency medicine is my calling. I would like to further build upon my passion by attending the Arrowhead fellowship, as I have seen the incredible skills, knowledge, and teamwork that fellowship-trained PAs bring to their practice and patients, and it is what I aspire to be. The EMPA fellowship at Arrowhead will grant me the opportunity to reach my fullest potential by providing a gateway to gain the clinical acumen necessary to excel in this specialty. I strive for excellence, and this fellowship training will afford me a stronger foundation from which I will continuously build upon and share throughout all stages of my career. The program’s various three-week rotations will allow me to become a more well-rounded and confident PA, capable of handling the various challenges of providing medical care in a high-stakes environment. Team work is also incredibly important in the fast-pace ED environment. The diversity of patients and medical cases I encountered were also met with a diverse team of trustworthy medical professionals. I want to be a member of the team that my seniors and peers can rely on. In the past my mentors have noted that I have a strong affinity for team work, eagerness to learn, and relentless dedication to patients.
