1 Introduction Global Developmental delay (GDD) is Defined as a significant delay in one or more areas exists when a child does not reach developmental milestones at the expected age. The common signs of the child having GDD are delayed of Physical skills, adaptive skills, and cognitive skills. The Parents are the First to recognize the delay and others will become aware when the child does not achieve some or all the milestones at the expected age. Whitney Colvin and Elizabeth McCarroll believed that using art intervention as a tool to help guide and improve a children not only strengthens their creative process but also helps the child with their sensory experiences. They also believe that a particular activity of an art intervention can be modified to meet the goals of child as they progress. Art intervention activities are being used because it may help motivate the child’s cognitive and socio emotion domains as Whitney Colvin and Elizabeth McCarroll is applying.
