The middle ages were times of prosperity and happinesss to most people. This is when art started evolving and getting better. The art went from freeform art to more religous based art. IT started out with going from small bronze bowls to large bronze sculptures. It went from ceramic plates to beautiful mosaics. Mosaics represented a large part in the Mayans life. Not only did they use them for their beaut but they also used them to represent the gods. In other societys people would use cross's carved from wood, sculptures made of steel, mosaics from glass, and pots from bronze, the art very much changed over time.
