I remembered that in my secondary school, I had one art class every week. During the class, I watched the operas like Cats and Phantom of the Opera, photography and printing etc. At that time, I learnt a lot like the history of the art and how art inspires our vision to appreciate aesthetics. The art course not only brings such knowledge to us, but also makes us feel relaxed. Art affects me in terms of historical and contemporary contextualization. Every art school has its own history and the history can let us understand more about the past. In the trip, we could see diverse types of art and know the development of Hong Kong art gallery. Also, we met an enthusiastic staff in one of the galleries. He told us very detailed about those art displaying in the galleries and what the artist wanted to express through the art.
