Many years ago Artemis lived. She is the goddess of nature, animals, and hunting. Her parents were Leto and Zeus. She was born a day before her twin brother Apollo. She is sometimes known as the goddess of the moon. She is sweet, caring and kind. She will punish you if your disobey her wishes or orders. Artemis made all cats big or small one color. For her it was hard to tell who was who because of their color. All her cats had different personalities. Though she still couldn’t tell them apart, it was a struggle every day. She knew some were bad and some were good
Now like I said each one was different for example Misty, Tigger and Kitty were all very respectful, caring, helpful, responsible cats. They were highly respected, unlike their brothers Oscar, Max and Smokey. They were rude, disrespectful and horrible. They were never respected. Now remember this is only six cats out of the thousands of cats. One day when Kitty was helping a bird get her baby in the tree, Artemis came up with an idea. Her idea was to change their fur to different colors that would match their personalities. So she observed every cat and change their fur different colors. She changed Kitty’s fur to a calico coat. She knew that each of them would fail and be disrespectful to the animals and people they were helping. Oscar was first. He had to help a monkey in the forest collect bananas, berries and leaves for their homes. For the most part he was awful, but when Artemis was with them watching he was helpful because he was sick of being grayish-black. She knew he was a bad person so she gave him a black coat of fur. Now that it’s Max’s he had to help a mama bird gather worms, seeds and twigs. This time it was different he was almost never rude. She knew that he was still a bad cat but told him that if he could be respectful for 3 years she would give him a beautiful gray and white coat. He agreed and wasn’t seen after
