Artemis was greek goddess born on an island called delos under a palm tree with her twin brother Apollo.She Was the daughter of Zeus(her father) the king of all gods.Also the daughter of Leto (her mother)Zeus secret lover.She was the goddess of chastity,virginity,the hunt,the moon,and lastly the environment. Artemis being the a goddess of many things means she has many responsibilities as being the protector of childbirth and hunting animals.Most important Artemis was forever a virgin thanks to her father Zeus. Zeus granted her enteral chastity and virginity. That means Artemis was forever a virgin so men didn't get attention from her. But Artemis did once have a lover named Orion. Orion really stole her heart. All of Sudden Orion was killed by Artemis there was no detail on why she killed him. Artemis was important to all women when it came to marriage and children. In Artemis honor they built a temple in Greece,and had two festivals. In art she had a hunting dog that was beside her. Overall,Artemis other most important details was the protector of childbirth, strengths and weakness, symbolism,and lastly Artemis personality. The symbol Artemis used was a bow and arrow her father gave to her. The clothing she wore was a short tunic. Artemis symbol means she was a beautiful goddess. They also used another name for her which was the roman goddess Diana. Artemis usually known by symbols that was joined with her feminine and nature. The colors that were used to symbolize her was silver ,white,red,green,and turquoise. The stones that represented her was crystal and moonstone,and many others.
