The Zodiac killer was linked to at least five killings in the bay area of California between the late years of 1960 and early years of 1970. These are just the ones the Zodiac Killer either called in or wrote his famous ciphers about, he could be linked to several others. This is a crime that never has been found to have a definite killer, but has many suspects. The strongest one being Arthur Leigh Allen. Mr. Allen was so strong of a suspect he had enough evidence against him for three search warrants. The Zodiac Killer was well known for the ciphers he would turn in confusing is crimes, but these all stopped in 1974. The only reason anyone knows what the killer looks like today is because of an eye witness who could give a description of the alleged Zodiac Killer. Arthur Allen is linked to the killings by many ways; however only three seem to have a lot of attention. Those three are the size 10.5 boot imprints found at the Lake Berryessa attack along with the bloody knives admitted having at is house the same night, the victims and eyewitness who positively identified him, and the cipher known as the “408” which was typed by a Royal typewriter with Elite type. He was confident with it being the men that stood over him twenty-two years ago. This then was partially confirmed by a police officer who saw him walking away from the murder of Paul Stine.
