Everything they do, GPA, SATS, ACTS, is preparation for college and determines how good of a college they will get into. But in todays society is it even worth attending college? Often times, students think they are limited to high school because they believe they can’t afford a higher education. Hrabowski wants schools to be pellucid with their financial aid. Counseling students and families to help with financial aid will open their eyes to the opportunities that they can afford and that suit that student the best. If higher education takes the initiative to help school systems with college preparatory, then a students path to college will be less challenging and actually achievable.
