Artificial intelligence has taken a considerable place in nowadays life. Artificial intelligence was not meant to replace human intelligence but rather to improve it through machines and software applications. Although humans are able to do most of the things they need, the means of artificial intelligence might be useful.
An expert system is a system that inherits the characteristics or abilities of a human expert. It was originally developed in order to solve complex problems and help in decision making. The main goal of implementing an expert system is to ease into our daily activities.

A good example of a decision tree and how a system interacts with another system is depicted below:
Some advantages of using an expert system are:
• They can create models of a specific patient 's illness.
• They can effectively use pathophysiologic reasoning.
• They can even capture the complexities created by several disease states that interact and overlap
• They have a greater capacity to quickly narrow the number of diagnostic possibilities.
Some disadvantages of using expert system are:
• They cost a lot of money to develop them.
• They cover a little range of knowledge.
• They lack creative problem solving approach.
• Human has to constantly maintain it and give it feedback for its development.
“Robotic surgery, computer-assisted surgery, and robotically-assisted surgery are terms for technological developments that use robotic systems to aid in surgical procedures. Robotically-assisted surgery was developed to overcome the limitations of minimally-invasive surgery and to enhance the capabilities of surgeons performing open
