Explore the role of communications and training in the promotion and provision of health and safety in the workplace.

Health and safety is very important in the workplace. Health and safety involves putting regulations and procedures into place to prevent accident or injury as well as harm or loss within the workplace. The employer is in charge of everything in regards to health and safety .including setting up the proper infrastructures to ensure the workplace is a safe environment. They should also ensure that all employees are provided with training and are aware of all health and safety regulations. Training courses should be compulsory to ensure health and safety regulations are met such as manual handling courses to prevent accident or injury in the workplace. Proper PPE (proper protective equipment. All PPE must be provided by the employer and must be worn by the employee. Perhaps bring someone into do a step by step safety guides is employees to show how to prevent the risk of accidents, Injury leading to a safe workplace.

Temporary deafness is often experienced after leaving a noisy place. Therefor it is a dangerous risk in the workplace. Hearing loss is usually gradual due to prolonged exposure to noise over the years combines with normal hearing loss due to ageing that people realise how deaf they have become. Employees not wearing ear protection which is the employers duty of care to provide proper PPE and employees duty of care is to wear the PPE provided. Employee without ear protect in a noisy work place would not be fully focused on what they are doing that could lead to accents in the workplace or they could come into difficulty and could not be helped by anyone as the workplace is to noisy.
