Atomic Bomb The United States of America used two atomic bombs in order to end the war with Japan during World War 2. I believe the use of the bomb was not justifiable by the USA because of the innocent lives killed. For example, the first atomic bomb dropped on Japan was codenamed “Little Boy”.Historians estimate that between 70,000 to 80,000 people were killed instantly by the bomb. The rate of number shown of total deaths show that many people were unnecessarily killed. Some common arguments in favor can be that it led to a quick end to WW2 and it saved the lives of American soldiers.Which in fact it did but cannot not repay the total amount of deaths caused by the atomic bomb. I am against the atomic bomb being used on Japan because of the destruction it caused and the bomb being inhumane. Furthermore, the bomb was inhumane because it caused innocent people to lose their lives .The bombs were inhumane due to the injuries it caused.It was a way of being cruel and heartless by using the atomic bomb. In addition, the bomb caused widespread deaths and damage. Foremost, “some have suggested that the US could have carried out a naval blockade and forced Japan control into surrendering.”This could mean that the United States could have undertaken the enemy to give up their sources from entering the country.Which is where Japan would struggle and not have any sources to survive which would make Japan surrender.To begin with some historians have agreed that the United States could have used the atomic bomb in a different way that didn’t harm innocent civilians.
