Right now I will be talking about, and explaining the Atomic Bombing of Japan. The Atomic Bombs on Japan was actually pretty upsetting to many people. Not everyone in America was upset about it because of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Lets just say they didn’t really feel bad, we didn’t want to go on a full out war because we were already in one. So we only sent the bombs so we can get Japan to surrender. But was it even right to bring in the Fat Man and the Little Boy? We could have negotiated it another way instead of harming many people. I understand that they killed a lot of our people at pearl harbor, but couldn’t we have resolved something? Here are the reasons why it wasn’t beneficial, but yet it was beneficial to drop the Fat Man and the Little Boy. First and foremost, we did it because if they didn’t use the atomic bombs the war would still continue. Meaning they would have to keep fighting until the Japanese were all dead or until they surrendered. Which is not beneficial at all! So many more people would have died because of that. So the bombs were pretty useful to stop the war even though many people sadly perished. As well as not dropping the bomb, I think they didn’t have to kill as many people as they did. Japan was already a beaten nation at the time! So why use the bombs to kill so many thousands of helpless Japanese in this inhuman way. But was it really inhuman? Because to me, all war is inhuman. In addition, they could have demonstrated the atomic bombs to the Japanese. You can show them that if they don’t surrender, they can face total destruction. If I were in the Japanese's spot, and they showed me the atomic bomb, I would have definitely backed down immediately! I don’t want my country and the people I love to be in danger! So that basically could have been more substantial
