Maturing into a young woman I have always been unique. Creativity and swiftness are skills that are second nature. As an architect student, creativity is a big key factor. It is important to understand the foundation of architecture and the lack of creativity leaves the student to become average. Attending the Design Discovery program at Mississippi State University changed my life in ways that are effective, productive, and exciting. The Design program is effective because it gives the prospective student a chance to see the dedication of a striving licensed architect. The week program is used to test the creative abilities of each young mind in a way that is effective and entertaining. This program is effective because it gives the student assurance on if architecture is a right choice. Becoming a member of the program only increase my love for architecture and the program that Mississippi State offers. The program was effective for me because I have a permanent decision on my major. Design Discovery only strengthens my passion for architecture and this will be a personal drive to succeed professional achievement such as a degree in architecture. …show more content…

Throughout the week prospective student receives activities that gradually test their ability to perform and their creativity skills. It is productive because it builds the potential student. The architecture program itself builds the students from an amateur to a licensed architect. A great example is like a building block each day in the week program the student was challenged on a more difficult level where they must apply the previous lesson as well as be creative. Daily, students in the architecture program are challenged to this degree. This program was productive to me because it “made me think outside the box” for every activity. It stimulated my brain to make me think creatively and still get the objective
