NAADAC Code of Ethics and the ACA Code of Ethics both serve as guide for the counseling professionals. Although, they may work from different angels, their common goals are for the well-fare of clients. Further, The ACA and NAADAC provide professionals guidelines for counselors to prepare them when providing treatment to clients. Both ethical codes can and will help you and provide you with the necessary information of what are ethical and what is not ethical behavior, it is essential in the counseling relationships (NAADAC, 2013). These codes help counselors to understand how their own values can interfere with the counseling interventions and how this can affect their patients.

Ethics is defined as basic concepts or principles of human conduct and the study of universal values (business.com, 2018). In her book, Dare to Serve: How to Drive Superior Results by Serving Others, Cheryl illustrated her ethical leadership skills by developing organizational values (Bachelder, 2015). Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education (BCEE) defines values as core beliefs regarding what is right and what is fair in terms of one’s actions and interactions with others (BCEE, 2017c, p. 4). Through a series of stakeholder meetings, Cheryl and her team developed six core principles that helped guide employees to achieve their collective purpose, “to inspire servant leaders to achieve superior results” (Bachelder, 2015). This helped align the organization to work together to achieve organizational goals.
A good number of today 's athletic trainers were former athletes and were introduced to athletic training by their own injury and rehabilitation process. My reasoning for becoming an athletic trainer, like most of today 's athletic trainers, I have been injured and treated by and athletic trainer. The two professional and ethical standards that I’ll be talking about will be the ACA code of ethics and the ASCA ethical standards for school counselors. Both in my opinion had some lessons that were similar to each other. The mission of the ACA is to promote human life and enhance the quality of life as well as establishing professional counselors (2014). In the ACA preamble, it says it is an educational and professional organization with members involved in all types of work settings. In the ASCA ethical standards for school counselors preamble, it says it is also a professional organization but their members are licensed or certified school counselors only.
Coaches are often in positions of power and how they use this position may also dictate their interaction with the athletes around them. Power is an essential element of the coaching process and as Jones et al. (2002) suggests it is integral to use the position of power if coaches want athletes to fulfil their respective potential. As a result, athletes are also heavily reliant on their coaches, not only in terms of supplying knowledge, but also in terms of measuring performances, organising training activities, guiding their lifestyles and ultimately constructing their identities as elite or professional athletes. Such a relationship, if used positively and in a holistic way will yield results for the both the athlete and the coach but if

In conclusion, ethics in sport adversely affects a sport managers career. Some prominent ethical issues that sport management professionals deal with in the 21st century include discrimination, athletes in the public eye and drug use. The treatment of every individual should be appropriate. Their race and gender should not be a factor in the determination of a role on a specific team. Also, athletes must uphold a professional reputation, in and away from their respective sport.
In the realm of sports psychology, there are two main theories of how coaching influences motivation, the Behavioral Approach to Coaching (BAC) and the Self-Determination Theory (SDT). Both theories work in different ways in order to increase motivation and produce desired behaviors from athletes.
