Family is the number one priority for any Palisi, a typical Italian family. We help and support each other when in need and cheer each other on to celebrate our successes. Every family has an inspiration, someone who nurtures and cares for everyone in the family. They have a fortitude and a resilience that keep us moving forward even in the darkest of times. For our family, there is My fathers sister; Melinda Palisi. Receiving physical and mental support from one woman, we all become a tight-knit family. Aunt Melinda is a key factor to all our success. Aunt Melinda is a well rounded, hardworking, supportive single mom of three, who never fails to inspire us all.
Aunt Melinda, also known as Auntie, is 5’10” with beautiful bronze, olive skin. She has light brown hair that grazes her shoulders. Her hazel eyes sparkle, and her smile can light up any room. She is also my godmother, and a second mother to all 38 cousins. Melinda financed her children’s college education (at top colleges in the country).
