Autism Spectrum Disorder and Autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. Symptoms and severity vary widely across three core areas. These three core areas are social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication and repetitive behaviors. Some may be taken mildly or may be more severe, but this can always be miss-diagnosed. Honestly, is someone being lazy enough to just label someone with Autism because they have similar symptoms really worth ruining a life with a scary label?
