So every day I would go to the annex room and then that when I found out that the world I live in today wasn’t always the same as it was now. So the old receiver was giving me all the old memories from the past. The first memory he gave me was about snow and when I got that memory I could feel the coldness of the air and I was on this thing called a sled and I rode the sled down the snowy hill. They were playing a game that had to do with guns and I didn’t like that cause it made me go back to the memory of the guy in the war asking for water. I didn’t like that at all I really wanted to show them the memory so they would understand but I couldn’t. So I started talking to the giver about it and he understood cause that has happened to him before. I told the giver how my father was releasing a baby and the giver asked me if I saw it and I got really confused cause no one was aloud to see anyone get released. Then he asked me if I wanted to see it so I said yes. So he showed me and when I saw it I was surprised because my father just killed a baby. So that night I was really upset so the giver let me stay the night.
