Without transportation we wouldn't be able to attend work, school or travel the country. Such roads was the legendary route 66 which provided a route for people trekking west chicago to Los Angeles California. Also launched the rapid construction of gasoline stations, repair shops, public garages, motels, tourist camps and shopping centers, and that meant a lot of money was made for the people running those business. Automobile industry symbolized the success of the free enterprise system and coolidge era. Without Henry Ford referred to the automobiles as toys for the wealthy citizens. And now in 2016 most of the population around the world own an automobile. This invention had changed humanity
