The social security is a costing system and it occupies a big proportion in the government spending. In Barbara R. Bergmann’s article “Could Social Security Go Broke?,” she deems that there is enough fund in the social security system and the government can easily transfer the tax income from current employees and firms that employ these employees to the social security to support retirees’ lives. This point of view only can be considered as assumption, but not for the real world. After the finacial crisis in 2008, a large number of employees were laid off during that time and some employees decided to retire early, which results the labor force in American has shrunk. In the meantime, the presence of effective technology products,

Hello, and thank you for allowing me to speak to you today as an anti federalist. I will be speaking about why the constitution, in its current form, should not be ratified. I would like to start today with a quote from one of our papers “When a building is to be erected which is intended to stand for ages, the foundation should be firmly laid.” As anti federalists we believe that the way our constitution, the foundation of our nation, is being constructed is incorrect, and primarily only beneficiary for the aristocrats. Over time we have obtained information and experienced first hand how fragile our foundation really is.
Jeremy, Ready I’m going spastic: I really don’t need to drink.. or pot.. I think they calmed me down if anything. I always heard if you type in caps it means you are yelling… I don’t yell much in person because I feel if you want to hear what I have to say listen closely.
After the recent anniversary of the apology to AFL legend, Nicky Winmar, this inspirational moment in Indigenous sporting history continues to be forgotten. The choice to stand and take action in showing the honour to be Aboriginal is scary and brave. They should not feel like this ever, feel scared for showing others their identity, yet they are and being criticised for the colour of their skin. We need to make this a normality for them, so they do not have to be crying out for a place to belong. Our nation will all experience a loss of identity and belonging at some point in our lives, however we fail to acknowledge this to be a daily routine for many Indigenous Australians.
This generation has had powerful effects on social security, health care, social change, and music. Social security is at its biggest downfall that it has ever been in because of the boomers. Since baby boomers are so large in population, they have a major impact on social security when they retire. Now and through the upcoming years, most baby boomers will be retiring and this will drain social security completely and cause future retirees from other generations to consider other ways to finance their retirement. The boomers also believe that they can expect higher incomes and lower poverty rates than other citizens surrounding them because of supplemental security.
Even in today’s times, the American dream of having a peaceful retirement still lives on. In fact, Brandon King, the author of “The American Dream: Dead, Alive, or on Hold?”, talks about a survey that declares that many Americans voted for “being able to retire without struggling”. People want to secure their future or prepare for the future because of the hard times that Americans had to go through like the Great Recession and the Great Depression. Huge part of the American Dream comes from securing a
The lives of many have begun to suffer and wipe out. With loss of hope and no money to spare many have given up or have pleaded for help to the president and others. With families the depression has forced many to hate their life. Know one expected the rapid job loss and with it to come people can’t provide food, clothes, or a roof over their head. What are the citizens supposed to do now?
My name is Austin Gansert. I am a high school student at Woodbridge High School in Irvine, CA. I am writing you today to talk about a very controversial topic: the legal drinking age. I believe that there are many benefits to having a lower drinking age of 18, rather than the current drinking age of 21. There are many benefits to having a lowered drinking age, which I will explain in this letter.
As people age, health becomes more of a concern as people more prone to health problems. Supporting Evidence: This was the time were many people were discovering themselves, so they did drugs, had unprotected sex etc. So most of our taxes will go to these Baby Boomers to pay for their health-care (PhillyMag) This also means that it is to the elder’s advantage because they can take use of the free healthcare The fact that they are growing old means that they are developing issues physically and in some cases mentally (Stat Canada)
Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle.
Social Security and Medicare in dangerous territory. The payments to Social Security and Medicare are not currently enough to pay the benefits that have been promised to those who have paid into these programs. Also, life expectancy is up, but the rates of people having babies is down. The population is aging, and the elderly are living longer.
As a society we need to accept that it is up to our generation to fix this issue. Reforming Social Security will benefit everyone living in the U.S. in the long run. Restoring Social Security to its once former glory is a necessity to benefit our further generations and to create a better future for the next generation of workers. In order to accomplish this lofty goal I propose that we increase the payroll tax cap to boost Social Security’s funding and reduce benefits for the higher income earners who do not need Social Security as much as others do. The majority of Social Security’s income originates from the Social Security payroll tax.

"Don 't you as a parent want your child to succeed don 't you want your child to be somebody don 't you want your child to be able to at least support themselves and not just be some bum begging for loose change at a street light". I hope that you take into consideration helping your child to receive great education not just good but great. Schooling will help your child grow as a person, meet various requirements for various jobs, and make a ton of money off of the occupation they choose after they have received their education. With the right schooling and the right requirements and opportunities seized by your child they could even help shape the world as we know it. hopefully for the greater good of the city, nation,or world .
