Bad Ideas for Bad Television Shows was a play presented by a really prepared group of actors. This extraordinary play was funny, complete, and understandable. There was no doubt that what we saw is a comedy. This play was about three desperate TV executives who need a show to appear on their TV channel. In the first scene, they were so desperate because they were “out of ideas” and they even beg. Just in that little part of the introduction, we saw exaggeration which is one of the elements of humor. Those things made the play even funnier than the script alone, especially how they were presented. After the introduction, we saw numerous scenes that “normal people, those who have an 80% pizza diet” prepared to show as ideas to the NBC executives. The …show more content…
It was about an extremely weird woman who had hidden cameras in her neighbors’ house. She wanted to find something “good” or interesting in their lives. Instead, she found out they were talking bad about her and saying she should be locked up. This show presented exaggeration and comic actions. The executives didn’t really like it.
Proposal #8 was another really fun show. It was called “My Father, the Panda.” The trick was, the father was an actual, literal panda. He never ever spoke but he made his daughter think about her own actions and she alone got to say what she should do to fix them and stuff like that as if her father had actually asked her to say that and improve, etc. It presented comic actions with the panda being very very lazy. The executives liked the show but commented they had a really similar on-going with another animal.
The 9th show was a clear imitation of a lot of global shows. It was simply called “The News” It presented a lot of exaggeration and comic actions. It started as a normal news program but then one of the news tellers strikes the other with a bat and so on. The executives loved it and kept adding more dangerous ideas and actions but the woman
