I’m sure you have heard of The Jungle Book, by Rudyard Kipling. In the chapter of Kaa’s Hunting, Bandar-log, the monkeys, are very similar to the bullies in real live. I assume that Kipling wanted to reflect how the Bandar-log are similar to the bullies. The Bandar-log are like bullies in many ways in the story. Including how they speak, act, and think. If you compare the Bandar-log and the bullies in real live, you’ll see how similar they are.

To start with, the first way how Kipling instructed the similarity between the Bandar-log and the bullies are by how they speak. The Bandar-log spoke like the bullies in many ways. For example, in Kaa’s Hunting there is a quote said “ shouting. He has noticed us! Bagheera has noticed us. All the Jungle people admire us for our skill and our cunning.” In this quote, the Bandar-log are yelling, just like the bullies. Bullies like to yell out words that they want to say. Also, the quote “ There is no one in the jungle so wise and good and clever and strong and gentle as the Bandar-log.” showed the similarity of the bullies and the monkeys. Sometime in real live, bullies will rush through when you and your friend are walking, and they do it roughly. The Bandar-log are also like the bullies in this way. The quote “Sick and giddy as Mowgli was he could not help enjoying the wild rush, though the glimpses of earth far down below frightened him, and the terrible check and jerk at the end of the swing over nothing but empty air brought his heart between his teeth.” showed how Mowgli felt when he was caught by the monkeys and swung with them. The quote also showed how the Bandar-log are similar to the bullies, they do not care about people’s feeling, and they carry out roughly.
