The piece of media that I chose is from a song that I have been listening to lately. Where a part of the lyrics spoke of sinners gathering together to find meaning in their lives before their time has come. It relates to how Jesus is friend with sinners as he gathers them together to present them will a new perspective that is forgiveness of their sins and a sense of purpose in their lives. Additionally, the song called Sinners by Barns Courtney, he is an English songwriter and singer. His genre of music sounds like that of Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin. The message to his song reveals a glimmering light shining in total darkness. As he is struggling through life, as he searches for meaning. Furthermore, based on the lyrics of the song, the part that stands out the most to me was Barns Courtney singing:

Like that of Jesus who is in a hypostatic union where he appears to be at a balance in his Divine nature and in his human nature to be the bridge between humanity and God. According to Kilgallen stated, “Jesus thinks that mingling with sinners and tax-collectors is a means to his goal, a method of leading these sinners to repentance” (Kilgallen 592). Kilgallen believes that to bring unity between humanity with God again, Jesus much draws sinners together and try to convince them to repent for their sins. Not to mention, in the artist lyrics of sinners “Marching on cobble streets” (Courtney line 14). It shows that sinners wanting to change the nature of their ways as they reach out for salvation. Stated in an article by Berndt, “Jesus does not reach out to the impure. They reach out to him, and he responds by trumping the power of impurity with the power of holiness” (Berndt 30). Jesus cannot save sinner unless they choose to be saved, for not everyone realizes the wrong of their ways until it is too
