Passion is the penetrating emotion that encourages in addition to intensifying a person’s desire for something. My father introduced his passion for baseball to me at age three. As I matured, my attentiveness designed for baseball intensified. Before the age of twelve, my interest developed into a passion. I eventually endeavored in becoming the ultimate baseball player. Consequently, practicing numerous hours in addition to countless tournaments played, this fueled my determination and passion for baseball. Initially, I sought to be in the dental field, however working as a medical/research assistant with Dr. Siddiqui at Specially for Children, transform me entirely. The experiences I obtained working with Dr. Siddiqui helped develop skills I could've gained from anywhere. While working with Dr. Siddiqui in the gastroenterology department, I became part of his research group. The research group was called the Comprehensive Abdominal Pain Program. The Comprehensive Abdominal Pain Program is a unique clinical and research-based interdisciplinary program includes pediatric gastroenterologists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, dieticians and complex pain and sleep specialists. Nevertheless, each child is a diverse individual with different requirements. Treatments are customized personally for each patient. My task comprised of collecting weekly documents from the patients, reviewing collected data, organizing the week’s schedule, promoting the program to external specialties and leading weekly meetings.
