Baseball back in the 1990's was a popular sport to watch and enjoy it by having some drinks, food, or whatever you wanted to eat. Baseball was a very exciting game to watch. The New York Yankees were the most popular team in the Major League Baseball at that time. The game of baseball has come a long ways from back in the day. Back in the day, they had negro leagues and white people leagues and until one time a person named Jackie Robinson was tired of that, and had made a big step by playing in the regular MLB organization. Back in the day baseball players would wear therepants up and have certain socks they would wear underneath there pants.

The New York Yankees were the popularity in baseball in the 1990's, because at that time they were winning the world series. There biggest rivalry back then were the Boston Red Sox. They have played so many games against each other and have been in many fights. If there was one thing you could count on, it was the Yankees because they were just tremendously good and very exciting to watch all the time. You would just here there name when the game of baseball popped up and everybody would know exactly what you were talking about. Everybody likes the pitcher, and he's the one who controls the game. The Yankees had a very unique pitching staff, there main pitcher was Mario Riviera and he was a closer. The closer is when there's a special pitcher to come out to pitch at the very last inning and pitch to win the baseball game. in the 1990 world series Mario Rivera had gotten injured and could not pitch in the world series. But there's one reason they still managed to win was because they had faith.
