Baseball and basketball have many similarities that make them fun and engaging for all who participate. One example is, they are both competitive. In baseball the players try to get as many runs as possible and try not to have a situation where the runners are out when bases are loaded. In basketball it is also a competition to see who can score the most baskets without fouling or breaking any of the rules. In the same way, basketball and baseball are fun. People who like basketball and baseball partake in it because it is fun and it feels good to work as a team. They also as a team can celebrate their victories because it is not an independent sport. In baseball there are defenders and offenders so it is clear which team has the ball and assistance to make sure the ball does not always get out of their possession. Baseball has baseman and outfielders when the other team is batting so the runners do not constantly score runs forever. Similarly, baseball and basketball are contact sports. Basketball players can get injured or from a foul or accidentally get head in the head by a ball. On the other hand, baseball players can get hit by the ball if they do not catch it, hit by the ball as a catcher, or as a batter have a bean ball.
