The Battle of the Bulge (in German, Ardennenoffensive or Rundstedt-Offensive, English, Battle of the Bulge) was a major German offensive, launched at the end of World War II (December 16, 1944 - January 25 1945); through dense forests and mountains of the Ardennes region of Belgium Wallonia-and more specifically, hence its name in French, Bataille des ardennes-, France and Luxembourg on the Western Front.
