Battle of the legends Since 1946 the NBA has been responsible for bringing some of the greatest basketball players of all time onto the court. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird,and Kareem Abdul Jabbar are all names well known in the MBA world. The title for the best of all time to this day is a competition between two basketball legends Kobe Bryant the Black Mamba and Michael Air Jordan. These two men have changed the way basketball has been played since they first stepped foot on the court. Surprisingly Jordan was attracted Baseball but he would not play this sport until later in his career. While in high school Jordan did play basketball, but he soon be kicked of the team. When Jordan graduated he went to play basketball for the University of South Carolina. Kobe Bryant on the other hand playing for the LA Lakers, put this team on the map for his impressive offensive shooting skills. With both these player success in the game, they were able to create their own brands, well known around the world today. Michael Jordan first created his shoe brand in 1984, he called them Jordans and they would go on to become one of the biggest shoe brands around.
