Social Media Policy BDS’s social media policy is written to provide guidance for the use of social media for the protection of the company and to all individuals working in any capacity on BDS’s behalf. All posts made should embody BDS’s core principals, which include Christian values, integrity, teamwork, and respect for our clients, vendors, and staff. Posts made on behalf of the company should only be done by official spokes people which include the owners, or management, unless done with writer consent and content approval. As all employees, whether full-time or part-time, are seen as an extension of BDS the following guidelines and restrictions apply:

*Any posts mentioning BDS, outside of the company’s domain, should include the following disclaimer: this post does not represent the opinion of BDS, its owners, or employees, and is the sole opinion of this writer. In accordance with national labor laws, BDS does not intend to restrict an employee’s rights to their expression.
* No form of social media will be used for harassment, discrimination or defamatory purposes, or be in violation of the intellectual property laws. It is the aim of BDS to hire employees and contractors with integrity, and therefore the company will not restrict your use of social media during business hours as long as it is used during designated breaks or during lunch. No social media apps may be downloaded onto company issued smart phones.
