In Lord of The Flies there was a cave which all the boys thought a beast lived in, but what they didn’t know was that it was actually their dark side which made them savage. Some points that I think brings out the beast are, Fear, war, and savagery of human nature. But the question is, who is the “Beast” to you? First, I think the beast comes out when you are afraid. According to Doc A, a lot of fear comes from younger kids then gradually to the older ones. A lot of kids have fear of the darkness of night and forest with spirits, and demons. These things usually only come in you dreams but you think it is real. According to Doc B, most of the young kids are afraid of the beast but all the hunters reassure that they will hunt and kill the beast.
