The important people, in this case, was the victim, Elias Santana, a member of the Neta gang. Wilfredo Benitez is a member of Los Solidos gang and claimed to have witnessed the murder. Benitez also mentioned that they saw Will and Hueso beating up the victim and saw Will giving Hueso the gun and Hueso shoots the victim in the chest. Angel Carrasquillo (Hueso) is a member of Los Solidos gang and robbed and fought with the victim every time he saw him. Carrasquillo is also known for being armed and capable of the murder.

Steven, the oldest kid in the family goes through a tough time in his life when his little brother Jeffrey gets leukemia, a type of cancer. Steven’s parents are also affected. The dad starts to not talk to Steven, and his co workers. The mom has to stop working and drive Jeffrey to the hospital often for treatments.
The Civilian Conservation Corps was one of President Roosevelt's first and one of the most successful New Deal programs for unemployment relief. Formed in March of 1933 and lasting through July of 1942, the federally funded program employed over 3 million men to help preserve the nation's environment while helping to improve the economic condition during the Great Depression. The program had many advantages: it prevented young men from becoming criminals giving them hope, discipline, skills, and an improved behavior while preserving our nation's environment, and it helped in the decline of unemployment. The book The Outsiders was a story of a boy named Ponyboy Curtis who had been going through a rough time because his parents had just died in accident. Ponyboy had been living with his two brothers Darrel Curtis, Sodapop. Pony and his brothers were in gang with Dallas Winston, Two-bit Mathews, Steve Randle ,and finally Johnny Cade who was 16 year old boy that was beaten by his father and his mother and weeks before he had been jumped by a group of Socs and had beaten so bad he was almost dead.
Rocket Boys is a memoir by Homer Hickam Jr. (Sonny), and it’s about his journey to become a rocket engineer for NASA, and how he fought against the norms his town of Coalwood had. He fights the discouragement of his dad and cycles through many different types of motivations. The main theme of this book, Rockets, is the perfect theme for Rocket Boys for many different reasons. Rockets are a perfect theme for Rocket Boys because they are a symbol of aspiration and escape, they act as the embodiment of learning and innovation, and they represent community transformation. Rockets in Rocket Boys symbolize many things, but especially the aspiration of the main characters, Sonny and his rocket launching agency (the BCMA), and their escape from the norms of the town of Coalwood.
"Running for His Life" In the story "Running for His Life", Michael Hall explains the genocide Gilbert Tuhabonye experienced when he was in high school in East Africa and how he managed to escape and relive his life in Austin, Texas. Tuhabonye's teachers and the Tutsi teenagers were burned alive and beaten to death by friends of theirs. A couple of students tried eluding, but we're caught and killed by the killers. The building was on fire, burning corpses, and burning to death any students who remained alive.

He uses his own experiences as a young African American man to shed light on how people can have implied biases that affect the way they treat other people. Staples does this to demonstrate how society develops preconceived notions in the minds of individuals about marginalized groups, primarily African American men, which are often a flawed representation of the people within these groups. Mr.Blue, written by Myles Connoly, is about a young man who is often viewed as insane by others for his peculiar joy and views on the world, and his close friend, the narrator of the story, who is constantly challenged by Mr.Blue’s morals and values. With Ponyboy and Johnny being the nice kids they are the tell Dallas to leave them along making get upset and leaving. After that the girls hang around with them for awhile until their boyfriends show up drunk and angry that two other guys are talking to their girls. The girls go home with them and Ponyboy and Johnny leave. Later that night they run into them again and they remember them starting a fight. Bob one of the Socs gets killed in the fight by Johnny in fear that he was going to kill Ponyboy.
