Why you want to be a Medical Assistant? The three main reasons why I want to be a Medical Assistant, is to help my community, help my family in a financial way, and to learn something I’ve never learned it before. Throughout my journey, I had a goal to become an MA in the future. I didn’t even know that being an MA was an easy thing to do. Learning step by step in school the ways that were going to take, to pass this course, as an MA was so not the feelings, I have it before I got registered to ACC. Still remember the quote was in front of our door back in High School that motivates me with this, is that “YOUR MOUNTAIN IS WAITING FOR YOU”. Keep on moving and strive for the best, not only it’s a best for me, but it’s for the good in my family. Medical Assistant is a very important role in life, helping people who are in needs and especially to save peoples life. Back home in American Samoa they don’t even take MA certification in the hospital, they just have that family business thing, that if you have any family who work there, then automatically you’re going to get the job. So is so hard for people out there to get a good and a right information about the disease they have. I’m the oldest of 4 siblings and my parents are sick, but they pretend that their doing okay with everything. I want to pay them back, and especially help them to raise my 3 little brothers. Life is not easy, and I know that my parents are not depending on no one, but me. I love my family so much and I want to pass this course as an MA, so that I will help my family back home and hospital. Medical Assistant is for me and I know I can do it if I have faith in God. I wished that I will make it to the end while I’m taking this MA class. “Help others and definitely the blessings will come back in your hands if you will do the right
