One thing that i am looking forward to is that being a Us Marshal will help me stay physically fit. To work as a Marshal you are recommended to pass the physical fitness test. In this test you have to pass it in categories like a 1.5mile run, sit and reach, sit-ups and push ups. They usually just grade you in the amount of time you can do what they ask. There are different requirement for men and women, that are broken down by age brackets in each of those fitness areas, as well as a minimum body fat percentage. You also have to be between the ages of 21 and 36(unless granted an age waiver). The physical part is important in this line of work to make sure to keep up with criminals attempting to flee. This work will also require frequent travel, either looking for fugitives , transporting criminals or having an assignment.
