BREAKING NEWS from the colonies, last night on March 5, 1770 at the Customs House an altercation between the British Troops and the colonists began, causing the deaths of 5 colonists. Yet, the colonists are no angels, what was supposed to be a small demonstration against the British turned deadly. The colonists are said to have provoked officers, by throwing stones, snowballs, and sticks at them. The history of the Boston, Massachusetts colonists and the British Troops is not good all. This is because ever since the British Troops were placed in the colony to enforce the Townshend Acts, the colonists have been on edge, but the peace has been kept until now.

When the school officially opened in the fall of 1861, teacher George A. Davy had 70 pupils in attendance. For wages, Davy received from families various kinds of produce such as cloth, molasses, and meat. Later in 1863-64, William Woodward taught school for $10.00 a month in which he also collected payment from each pupil and family. During school students used slates and pencils from slate rock found in the mountains east of Franklin. Then each Saturday the straw was removed from the floor where fresh straw was placed for Sunday Services.
On March 5th 1770, British Soldiers shot and killed five colonists and injured 10 of them. The tragic event was nicknamed “The Bloody Massacre”, but the colonists were at fault because they were the ones that provoked the soldiers, they attacked the soldiers, and they created a chaotic scene. First reason why the colonists were at fault is because they are the ones that provoked the soldiers. (Paragraph 2 of page 155 from the book United States History Colonization through Reconstruction written by Michael B. Stoff and James West Davidson) “A crowd gathered…colonists shouted insults.”
Did you know that bloody Sunday was one of the worst massacres in Washington state history? Also known as the Everett Massacre. This day many people died. My book report was about a horrible tragedy that happened on April 20 1999 it was called the columbian high school shooting it was absolutely horrendous and terrible no parent or family should have to go through what these families did 13 were killed and 24 wounded it went on for 2 days i couldn't imagine the pain and suffering those families went through not knowing if there loved ones were dead, wounded, or just hiding i couldn’t deal with that i wouldn’t be able to handle all the thoughts racing through my head or even trying to wrap my head around how two high school boys (Dylan Klebold 17 killed 5 and Eric Harris 18 he killed 8) could do such a thing to people they see everyday like it was a walk in the park they planned it all out for
