Beginning of earth

Why is there fear in life?

In the beginning when humans first started out, they all lived in the same village, with the same people and the same things. Everyone knew the land outside the village was unknown and no one knew what lurked beyond it. Everyone went along with the way things were until one day the ground shook and the rocks from the mountains above crashed onto the ground. The ground rumbled and no one knew what it was. They couldn't stop it and they had no way of stopping it. People assumed it was the god of the earth getting angry and rumbling, she told stories about her and what she did when she was angry. The earth began to quake again, this time crushing everything the people had. It left them homeless and they had nothing. Their Chief Oyana decided it was time to explore and encouraged them all to leave the village and venture out and see the rest of the world. They traveled through deserts and all of a sudden all the sand created a giant funnel in the sky and swept across the land picking up whatever debris it could find in its path. On top of that the harsh sun beat down on them and one man died because he couldn't handle it. The people decided to not settle in the desert, because they didn't like the unknown funnel nor the death of one of their people. They decided to venture over to the forest, giant cliffs hung over the land below. They saw large cats and unknown animals staring at them and they didn't event want to stay here because they knew bad things lurked in the forest. They walked longer and they came to the ocean. As they approached it, the waves crashed against the rocks with such power, they didn't know how they'd live here. The chief Oyana decided to jump in the water and the rest of the people watched as he got bashed around by the waves, he drowned to death and the humans decided to not
