How did Lakshmi struggle with the isolation she felt in her relationship?

Every small action in life between a couple can have a significant impact on individuals in their relationship. Similar to how a butterfly's wings can cause waves on the other side of the globe, everything couples do might result in a struggle or grapple on the way of their journey together. In the short story Behind the headlines, by Vidyut Aklujkar, Lakshmi strives to get past the isolation she sees in her relationship that was caused from lack of communication and Hariharan's negligence in her life. In an effort to end her isolation, Lakshmi starts up a conversation, attempting to speak with Hariharan. Lackshami's attempt to engage Hariharan in conversation about the individuals in her immediate vicinity serves as an example of this: “Even when he was at home, he did not have a lot to say to her. What was there to talk about? Every once in a while, Lakshmi would start a conversation, but she would soon begin to sense the futility of it all. (2)” Having a lack of communication in a family can cause many problems in life that causes misunderstandings and distances from each other. Communication in anybody's life can solve many problems and struggles between the family members or couples in their journey together. The story featured Lakshmi starting a career and helping in a crisis center. Hariharan's indifference for his wife's employment and personal life is best exemplified by the following: “Hariharan did not even know that. He never asked her what she did all day long. In the early days of their married life, she used to offer that information to him but as she sensed his utter lack of interest in the activities that seemed significant to her, she had developed a habit of not communicating anything about herself.” (4) Caring and being concerned about each other is key to achieve a life without stress, increases in happiness and being happy. In order to enjoy the life that every person deserves, Lakshmi has the right to receive more attention from her husband as a human being. It's interesting to see that Lakshmi works for an organization that assists those in need because they frequently experience difficulties in their daily lives. People are led and heard by Lakshmi. Despite being unable to meet her own needs, she meets those of others and solves them. As a result of experiencing isolation in her own life, she deals with similar people in order to free herself from the cage of unfavorable emotions that Hariharan had kept her in for 12
