5 Reasons Being A Writer Sucks
Believe me or not, being a writer in this certain period in time sucks. I mean seriously, I think being a writer truly sucks.
Just to be clear, I do love writing. If possible, I’ll continue writing until I don’t have anything to write about. I love people reading my rants, my opinions, my suggestions, and my say to some major events in life. Through writing, I am able to relay my own message and let others people know what I think about them. However, I cannot change the fact that being a writer truly bums me out.
So what are my bases for this one?

2. Readers judge you from head to toe – Let me bring back that horrible experience after writing my last week’s content entitled “5 Things Zuckerberg’s Daughter Should Know About Her Dad”. And seriously, that was a sucker punch for me. Originally, the content was about the hardships of being a dad and a professional at the same time. Sadly, others think that it was purely rubbish. 4. We are “stereotyped” – Ever heard of an opinion article? How about feature articles? I bet that some of you only know Copywriting and Content Writing. But how about poetry? Essays?
Seriously, we have lots and lots of writers out here who can write as skillfully as others. But since our readers are limited only to what they always see on the Internet, they don’t appreciate other writing approaches.
So for non-readers out there, writers are different from each other. We are a variety, not some generic “5 Tips” creators.
5. Because you really want to show that writing is an awesome job, but everyone fails to realize it – For me, writing is not a just a job. It’s a way of telling the world that you exist. It’s telling the world that your voice is important.
It’s not just a job. It’s not just a career. It’s a way of life. It’s a way to speak out. And no, it’s not just a job where you write stuff with a notebook and a pen. It’s a job for brave people who are brave enough to be criticized for their
