In 1968, North Vietnam attacked South Vietnam during Tet, an agreed upon time of peace. This attack was known as the Tet Offensive, aimed to separate the South Vietnamese from their American allies during a time of weakness. The violation of the understood ceasefire was brutal on both sides of the battle ground. After the Offensive was over, it left a pessimistic outlook in Americans due to the handling of the war and the major casualties caused. While both the North Vietnamese and the South Vietnamese, along with their allies, took serious damages during the attacks, there was no clear winner.

Show your teacher the proper attention while she is teaching, students miss out on useful information while doing other things during class. Horror stories about the brutal treatment of inmates in prisons has been the focus of several popular movies over the last few decades. The fact is that prison brutality is real and prisoners at Alabama prisons went on strike to protest against inhuman conditions and treatment at Alabama prisons. The 29,000 male and female prisoners that are housed in Alabama prisons went on strike May Day. The prison strike clearly showed that prisoners are coming together to organize and demand better conditions along with better treatment.
I am always respectful to all people, including my peers and teachers and I always take the opportunities I have to improve my academic performances. Section 1: Identification and Evaluation of Sources The purpose of this investigation is to explore the question: How did the Tet Offensive change American public opinion on the Vietnam War? The focus of the investigation will be on the years 1965-1970 in order to allow for analysis of American public opinion from the beginning of American involvement to the years following the Tet Offensive. Sources analyzing the Tet Offensive as a whole and American public opinion on the Vietnam War will be used to accurately determine the effects of the Tet Offensive on American public opinion. The first source that will be evaluated is the book “The Tet Offensive,” which was written by Marc Gilbert and William Head in 1996.
Competition in the classroom can be very intense, especially when other students appear to excel relatively quickly while you have to struggle through. I personally experienced this one in a class I had several years ago. I put in hours to my work and was not receiving the grades I wanted. On the other hand, a classmate never seemed to study and aced every assignment. It was very easy for me to become resentful of her and her success.

In order to be successful, there has to be someone that have motivated you to get up and accomplish the goals that were needed to get where you want to be in life. Motivation is a very important role in life. Some people could have been lazy their whole life, but by them seeing somebody thats close to them or close to peers can just be motivated by watching that person. This can cause that same person who was lazy most of their life to get up and accomplish what needs to be accomplish just by watching that one person that encouraged you. One type of job that has benefit from motivational approach is coaching.
The question which I have decided to encounter is ‘Who gets to be Human? According to Calvin Thomas’s Lesson One, he states that ‘the world must be made to mean’ (27,Thomas), bringing about the concept of human reality. You would think that being a human should not be questioned and that the idea of being a human comes commonly. I agreed with this perception until I began to explore the fictional text of Never Let me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and it led me to believe that human reality cannot be taken naturally. We are brought into this world with help and guidance from those around us.
In the classroom there’s a list of words the students will learn throughout the year, every night they would get new words and at the end of the week, they would get quizzed on a set of words. The teacher has an annotation chart that has different things that students can do. For example, if the students have a question about their reading they can put question marks next to it and more. This helps the students understand the reading much better and this also helps the teacher know the students need help with. There were many students who wouldn’t listen and would just be laughing, getting up without asking and disrupted the class during the lesson they would lose their recess,
Typically I wait until the last minute to do something. This often works but it is really stressful and probably not the best thing to do. Sometimes I will just never do the assignment. To improve these habits i'm going to start setting the deadline for these assignments an few days earlier then they are assigned. This way I can make myself do it before its due.
