“Take time to be thankful for everything that you have. You could always have more, or you could have less.” I picked this quote because it reminds me to be thankful. Being thankful is important because it shows that you appreciate others and love what they give you out of love. Showing love and passion is one step closer to being thankful. I am thankful for my grandparents, my family, and what I love the most, dance. Grandparents, where do I begin, they’re loving, they’re kind, and they always give, love and appreciate the things I give them. I know that my grandparents love me because of the sacrifices they give to spend time with me. They love me and hold me tight when I am feeling down and in tough times. Kind and loving are words to describe my grandparents because they always love me no matter, even if I did something wrong they never get mad. I dance almost everyday and I’m thankful to have the most amazing teachers. I’m lucky to be able to do what I love and have a supportive set of friends and family behind it all. I’ve been exposed to many different genres and have met so many breathtaking artists. Dancing allows me to express myself in a confident way and I feel good about what I’m doing while I’m dancing. I get to travel to different places and meet new people from all over the world. Dance provides me with never-ending discovery and I’m thankful for that. Having all the money in the world couldn’t replace the love I have for my grandparents, family and dance. It’s important I let them all know how much they mean to me and tell them often that I love them. The love and affection my family and grandparents have shown me has remained deep within my heart. Now that I’m older, their love and support is still needed everyday. And the importance of dance is something that is instilled in me for life.
