Ben Williams is a CEO of a public relations firm. Every year this public relation firm does a semiannual survey to see where the company can improve. During the recent survey, Ben Williams found out that his corporation is lacking in communication. Mr. Williams usually just tells his employees what has to be completed and does not give an explanation on why the task is completed. This leaves the employees confused on why they are completing the task. One way Mr. Williams can help change the issues in his corporation is by using new communication strategies associated with effective leadership.

What communication strategies are associated with effective leadership? The first strategy would be to know your audience. Diversity plays a big part in today’s business world. Williams, it will be crucial that Mr. Williams has a meeting with his top leaders and simplifies his new proposals and communicate business reasoning for all changes and decisions. During this meeting, Mr. Williams should get input from his leadership team. Mr. Williams should have hold meetings with selected employees to encourage their input on how they would feel about some of the changes that are occurring. Mr. Williams could take some of the employees input and seeing where problems could occur on the front line of the corporation. Mr. Williams needs to realize that communication will be spread faster to many employees if he should use the email service. Communication via email is a safe way to let staff know that changes are occurring without talking to every single team member, especially if a team member is absent and does not receive valuable information in a timely
