Bending Personality Characterized as the “criminal”, Bender is a rebellious teenager constantly labelled as a failure throughout the film. He doesn't show any care about authority or his peers for that matter, he likes being a smartass and wise crack for attention and seems to be on track to becoming a dropout. Dresses like typical delinquent, denim jacket ratty clothes, earring, etc. Bender acts out verbally and physically, disrupting and even getting put into a room to himself. As the film progresses we become sympathetic and come to an understanding about the reasons behind Benders’ actions and language.
