Political Fascism: Fascism is defined as a political ideology and mass movement that was present in Europe. It sought to regenerate the social, political, and cultural life of societies. It is seen that fascism is a type of totalitarian government that develops when the state feels a need or desire to control all aspects of society and often imposes the ways of one specific nation of the whole of society. Benito Mussolini carries out this type of government in Italy around the 1920s, following the strikes, bread riots, and sporadic violence of socialists peaking in the summer of 1920. Mussolini’s Fasci di Combattimenti, or the Blackshirts, took advantage of the discontent and transformed the Italian government into one that maintained a strict rule and did not tolerate opposition. After the war, it was only logical for the jet engine to be applied to passenger planes. As people could now travel distances previously unimaginable in record time, the world became more interconnected. Thus, the jet engine was a key component in the globalization that occurred during the 20th and 21st centuries.
