On October 3rd, 1935, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini decided to invade Ethiopia. This invasion complicated things [How?] and turned into a war. This was called the Second Italo- Ethiopian War. This war was fought between the kingdom of Italy and the forces of the Ethiopian Empire. This war lasted until 1939. Ethiopia lost, and this landed the dictator of the Italian Fascist regime, Benito Mussolini, popularity.
