Benjamin Franklin arrived at Paris in 1776 after signed in the Declaration of Independence and that action has made it very clear that America is looking for an ally that are capable of fighting against England. With this reason alone, he can easily have a warm welcome from France, since after the humiliated defeat in the French and Indian Wars, France now considered England as their strongest enemy.
